The president of the Nanjing Normal University visits DWC High School

Ms. Qian Huanqi, professor and president of the Nanjing Normal University in China, visited the DWC High School to get a better understanding of the concept and mission of the school. She was so interested and amazed with the concept that she is considering establishing one within Nanjing campus in China.


Ms. White holds a career and exam counseling session on the DWCHS Campus

Advice session-1Ms. Kathryn White, from K12, gave the DWC High School girls tips and advice for their Term 1 Exams. The session was held on Tuesday, January 15th on the school campus. The girls felt more confident and ready for their finals after their talk with Ms. Kathryn and Ms. Maya, the school principal. One girl said: “The flexible time given for each exam makes me feel more confident and reduced my exam anxiety.”


Delivering the bake sale donations to Pink Caravan

The DWC High School students have collected donations to help and support breast cancer patients living in the UAE. Some girls visited the Pink Caravan in Sharjah (opposite the Sharjah Women Club) to hand over the donation.

The Pink Caravan campaign is designed to raise awareness of breast cancer and encourage women to perform self-examination and go for regular medical check-ups.

Dr. Sawsan said, “Any donation, no matter how small, will definitely make a difference in someone’s life.”
